Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Controls Specialist to support commercial properties across a diverse portfolio. You will program, configure, and troubleshoot BAS/BMS and HVAC control systems, optimize energy performance, and ensure reliable operation of building infrastructure. Partner with facility managers, vendors, and engineers to deliver data-driven performance, implement upgrades, and support sustainability goals. Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot BAS/BMS and HVAC control systems across commercial properties.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize building performance and energy usage using system data and analytics tools.
- Support commissioning, upgrades, and integration of new equipment and control strategies.
- Collaborate with facility managers, engineers, and vendors to resolve system issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain documentation including control sequences, as-builts, and system configuration records.
- Respond to service requests, alarms, and critical events to minimize downtime and occupant impact.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and JLL standards in all controls-related work.
- Provide technical guidance to onsite operations teams and support training on building automation systems.
