Supervisory Transportation Analyst SME

U.S. DOT Volpe Center seeks a Supervisory Transportation Analyst to serve as Chief of the Program Development and Capacity Building Division responsible for developing and implementing transportation policies and programs, providing technical guidance on regulations, policies, strategic planning and coordinating programs and affiliated initiatives and activities. Specific Division information can be found in the DUTIES section below.

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. Individual Occupational Requirement:
Experience that demonstrated a knowledge of the transportation functions(s) of the position to be filled (for positions above GS-5). To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience planning and conducting transportation projects/programs (e.g., surface transportation, environmental, community, infrastructure, construction, safety, outreach/marketing, international, transit, maritime, etc.), OR Experience researching, identifying, and/or assessing the impact of transportation project/program investment (e.g. surface transportation, environmental, community, infrastructure construction, safety, outreach/marketing, international, transit, maritime, etc.), emerging transportation technology programs, infrastructure grants/financing, equity assessment, or comparable transportation work involving public policy, AND Experience providing leadership of a project team or organizational office.
