XL Event Lab is an international live events company producing a portfolio of successful touring entertainment experiences across multiple markets. Over the past decade we've launched, grown and operated events across the UK, Europe and North America, delivering millions of customer experiences through a diverse portfolio of live entertainment brands. As we continue to expand across the United States, we're looking for an exceptional Head of Regional Development to establish and grow our presence across Florida.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, established events company at an exciting stage of growth. You'll work closely with our Senior Management Team while taking ownership of one of our newest regions, playing a key role in its long-term success.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines venue partnerships, event operations and regional leadership.

Initially, your priority will be identifying, securing and contracting the venues that will allow our touring events to establish a successful presence across Florida. You'll research opportunities, build relationships with venue partners, negotiate commercial agreements and oversee the venue procurement process from beginning to end.

As activity increases, your role will naturally evolve. You'll oversee the successful delivery of events within your territory, recruit and develop a local team, build relationships with key stakeholders and take day-to-day responsibility for the continued growth and performance of your region.

No two weeks will look exactly the same. Some days you'll be researching new opportunities and visiting venues. Others you'll be negotiating contracts, reviewing event schedules, solving operational challenges or supporting live event delivery.

This is not a role for someone who prefers sitting behind a desk waiting for instructions. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is comfortable making decisions and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

• Venue Development
• Identify, evaluate and secure suitable venues across Florida.
• Lead venue procurement from initial research through to signed agreement.
• Build long-term relationships with venue owners and managers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and venue contracts.
• Regional Operations
• Support the planning and delivery of touring live events throughout your region.
• Ensure venues, schedules and operational plans are in place for successful event delivery.
• Work closely with colleagues across operations, marketing and production.
• Building the Region
• Recruit, develop and manage a local team as the region grows.
• Establish efficient local processes and ways of working.
• Monitor regional performance and identify opportunities for continued growth.
• Represent XL Event Lab professionally within your territory.
• Travel
• Travel regularly throughout Florida.
• Attend venues and live events as required.
• Occasionally travel outside your territory to support wider business activities.

You'll be organised, proactive and comfortable working independently. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems and taking responsibility for your own work. You're equally comfortable negotiating with venue partners, managing multiple priorities and dealing with the unexpected when it inevitably arises.

Experience with in live events would be advantageous, but it isn't essential. We're equally interested in candidates from hospitality, venue partnerships, business development, tourism or similar industries who have strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills.
