Randstad, in partnership with our client, is looking for a passionate and skilled Senior FP&A Professional to join a world-class Finance team during a pivotal moment of growth.

This is a maternity leave coverage role running through the beginning of July. We are looking for someone to start ASAP to allow for a dedicated crossover period with the current employee, ensuring you are fully supported and set up for success from day one!

The Role:

In this role, you aren’t just "crunching numbers"—you are a strategic business partner. Reporting to the Head of FP&A for R&D, you will bridge the gap between financial data and scientific breakthroughs. You’ll help manage the financial health of critical functional areas while stripping away "viscosity" and friction in our processes.

What You Will Do:
  • Partner with Urgency:
    Act as the financial right hand to R&D cost center owners, providing the insights they need to make life-changing decisions.
  • Drive the Plan:
    Manage quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning with a focus on excellence.
  • Be an Owner:
    Foster transparency and efficiency in investments, encouraging your business partners to take agency over their budgets.
  • Digitize & Innovate:
    Leverage digital tools to streamline data validation and reporting—pushing past "the way it’s always been done."
  • Operational Excellence:
    Support month-end close (accruals and reconciliations) and manage PO/invoicing workflows with a high level of accuracy.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree required (CPA, MBA, or CFA is a plus!).
  • Experience:

    5+ years in FP&A or Accounting with a proven track record.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Advanced Excel modeling and hands‑on experience with SAP and EPM systems.
  • The Mindset: A desire to work independently, manage competing priorities, and challenge the status quo to find a better way.
