Responsibilities
Simultaneously performs the duties of a traditional branch customer service representative and teller. This position requires travel to various branch locations within the designated Region, with an emphasis on placing employees where they live.
- Prepares and processes loan applications for various lending units (mortgage, consumer, small business, etc.)
- Closes loans for customers for applicable business lines (i.e., consumer lending)
- Processes ATM, ITM, TCR and ICOM transactions
- Makes referrals to other bank business lines and third‑party partners
- Proactively reaches out, by phone and in person, to high‑value customers in efforts to retain and grow the portfolio
- Responsible for operational compliance and adherence to policy
- Handles daily account maintenance and other service issues as necessary
- Processes deposits to customer accounts, including verification of cash and endorsements, and provides customers with receipts
- Cashes checks for customers and non‑customers according to bank policy
- Processes and properly records the sale of monetary instruments (i.e., official bank checks)
- Files all government‑mandated reports related to large cash transactions and the sale of all monetary instruments
- Processes foreign currency purchases and sales
- Processes various types of loan payments and credit card cash advances
- Adheres to all bank policies and procedures in all duties
Individuals in this position will balance time between account representative duties and teller duties; at times more emphasis may be on one over the other.
Problem Solving and Decision MakingIncumbent has discretion in certain circumstances, but if written policy is unclear or there is uncertainty, the account representative should seek guidance from the immediate branch supervisor.

- Quick learner of bank products and services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–4 years of sales experience in retail, financial services, or hospitality preferred
The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position about 50% of the time and operate a computer, calculator, copier, and printer. The employee occasionally moves about to access file cabinets or office machinery and may travel to locations outside the facility for meetings, trainings, events, or other business activities. The role requires maintaining visual acuity for computer work and driving a motor vehicle, and occasionally lifting or moving boxes or equipment up to 20 pounds.
