Job Description

Simultaneously performs the duties of a traditional branch customer service representative and teller, primarily in specific traditional branch locations where such a “hybrid” position is authorized.

• Opens deposit accounts.
• Prepares and processes loan applications for mortgage, consumer, and small business units.
• Closes loans for consumer lending customers.
• Makes referrals to other bank business lines and third‑party partners.
• Proactively reaches out by phone and in person to high‑value customers to retain and grow the portfolio.
• Responsible for operational compliance and policy adherence.
• Handles daily account maintenance and other service issues as needed.
• Supports achieving quarterly sales goals.

• Processes deposits to customer accounts, verifying cash, endorsements, and provides receipts.
• Cash checks for customers and non‑customers according to bank policy.
• Records the sale of monetary instruments such as official bank checks.
• Files all government‑mandated reports for large cash transactions and sales of monetary instruments.
• Processes foreign currency purchases and sales.
• Processes loan payments and credit card cash advances.
• Adheres to all bank policies and procedures.

Individuals in this position spend a mix of time between the platform and teller line, sometimes favoring one side over the other.

• Has the discretion to act within written policy; seeks guidance when uncertain.
• Can work independently, multitask in a fast‑paced environment, is an outgoing self‑starter, and is technically literate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in retail, financial services, or hospitality preferred.
• Some banking experience a plus.
• Demonstrates basic business acumen and professionalism.
• Communicates clearly and exchanges accurate information effectively.
• Builds relationships and alliances across the organization.
• Quickly learns product and service details offered by the bank.

• Remains in a stationary position for long periods with continuous customer contact.
• Can transport items weighing 15 pounds or more.
