Responsibilities- Provides timely and accurate metrics on schedule and cost performance utilizing Earned Value or related processes
- Supports all baseline development activities and development of charge numbers and WBS as applicable
- Provides updates/changes as required, for programs with and without Earned Value requirements, in applicable tools (ERP or Cobra).
- Provides analysis and reports on the performance variances to budget and assist with recovery plans as needed
- Analyzes and reports risks & Opportunities to the baseline cost, schedule, and the EAC
- Ensures timely maintenance of the Project-Activity Structure (Charge Numbers)
- Provides timely completion of the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, processing time‑phased estimate to complete updates, and EAC package support for Program Financial Planning and Reporting
- Develops and monitors the program level time‑phased plan to support an overall program level view of revenue for forecast, budget, and 5‑year planning processes
- Provides the financial data inputs, analysis, and applicable variance narrative for Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Quarterly Business‑Reviews (QBRs)
- Provides timely invoicing and collection of customer receivables
- Reviews and communicates the status of program financials, including the status on funding, and disposition of funding that is subject to cancellation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Proficient EVMS principles in daily operations
- Knowledge of program financial controls with DoD programs
- Knowledge of relevant federal acquisition regulations and standards such as CAS/FAR/DFARS
- Knowledge of different contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M)
- Knowledge of relevant accounting subject matters, including revenue recognition
- Ability to present complex information to all levels of management
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient with Microsoft software applications and strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Ability to multi‑task and be detail oriented
- Ability to ensure tasks completed on time and accurately
- Self‑starter capable of working independently
Education:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
3‑5 years of related experience.
