Main Responsibilities
  • Serve as the finance voice of the Global Franchise, effectively interacting with New Product Planning, Business Development, R&D (Portfolio Review, Integrated P&Ls), Countries, Industrial Affairs and Supply Chain (Capacity planning, Volumes analysis), and supporting the Head of the Franchise and the Immunology Leadership team on strategy plans, business cases, performance reviews and quarterly landing.
  • Lead Franchise Global Controlling & Reporting Process including P&L, headcount and investments, resource allocation during monthly closing, investor relations, rolling forecast, budget and strategic planning processes.
  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence to improve ways of working and foster efficiencies.
  • Provide Launch Excellence finance support for all new assets: finance expertise and support on launch preparation, governance, and launch execution monitoring to maximize asset value.
  • Analyze financial performance by regions and indications to support resource allocation decisions.
  • Partner with Market Access & Pricing, Forecasting and Competitive Intelligence teams to understand external environment evolution and financial impacts.
  • Lead the Global Strategic Planning Process for the therapeutic area, including key investments (External Partners, Infrastructure, Commercial Operations, R&D/IA interface) and interact with Sanofi Group Strategy, the PFR team and Finance Leadership Team.
  • Monitor forecast and performance versus external consensus and support the Investor Relations team to prepare key highlights for quarterly earnings calls and investor events.
  • Prepare and present strategic investment projects and analysis required by Sanofi Group and Leadership team, representing the TA for strategic projects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a closely related field; master’s degree in finance or the sciences / MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional business experience in finance, accounting or a closely related field.
  • At least two years of business‑partnering experience with commercial teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V‑lookup, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of BOOST TM1 and Think Cell preferred.
  • Strategic agility with big‑picture orientation and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong communication, presentation, listening, and written skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business partnering, collaboration, and ability to influence senior stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Experience working transversally in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Global or international experience and ability to work with a diverse team preferred.
