This position is located in the National Preparedness Division, Preparedness and Analysis Branch, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. The must have the ability to work with a variety of teams and able to build results driven products that show metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

GS-09:
  • Educating and engaging with stakeholders;
  • Presenting at meetings; AND
  • Developing strategies for building stakeholder-based programs.

OR Education Substitution:
Have successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Master's degree in a related field.

OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.

OR Have a combination or both Specialized experience and education as listed above.

GS-11:
  • Compiling, interpreting and or analyzing workload date from a variety of sources;
  • Developing a variety of emergency management policies or plans; AND
  • Preparing reports and briefings which identify emergency preparedness practices to stakeholders.

OR Education Substitution:
Have successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree in a related field.

OR LL.B., if related.

OR Have a combination or both Specialized experience and education as listed above.

GS-12:
  • Leading and facilitating working groups or initiatives to enhance disaster readiness and/or preparedness initiatives; AND
  • Conducting analyses of emergency planning and preparedness activities and ensures execution is accomplished in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
