Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker job in Massachusetts offer you the opportunity to provide long-term counseling and emotional support to patients and families. You will develop treatment plans based on psychosocial assessments and maintain complete patient records. Your responsibilities include coordinating medical, social, emotional, insurance, and vocational issues related to injury or illness, conducting assessments in-person or telephonically, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and community agencies to implement safe and effective care.

You will communicate regularly with clinicians, document in electronic medical records, and participate in quality assurance activities. The role requires a master’s degree in social work, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and a current Massachusetts LICSW license. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, provide high-level customer service, and be familiar with the care needs of medically complex young adult, adult, and geriatric populations.
