The physical therapist evaluates and treats patients in the inpatient acute care setting as well as the same day joint replacement program at Cambridge Hospital. There are also potential opportunities to provide care to the pediatric population on the inpatient behavioral health units at the nearby Somerville Hospital campus or CHA’s PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for Elders) program.

• Assess, plan, and deliver physical therapy interventions for acute inpatient patients.
• Provide same day joint replacement rehabilitation services.
• Offer care to pediatric patients on inpatient behavioral health units and to PACE program patients as opportunities arise.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary rehab team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• MA PT licensure and AHA BLS certification required.
• Inpatient acute care or SNF experience preferred.
