* ** pa c certification required*
* *** max bill rate 195/hourly for both pa & np**
* **** massachusetts local candidates strongly preferred local providers will be prioritized and non local candidates may have limited consideration***

Assignment length: 3 months

Schedule:

full time 3 shifts per week
Shift details: 7pm to 7am nights and weekends
Call requirement: 3 shifts per week

Annual volume: approximately 1200 deliveries per year
Patients per day: variable, inpatient service
% admitted patients: 100%, inpatient service

Support staff: pa and cnm coverage 24/7, ob md coverage 24/7

Emr system: epic

License requirement: active massachusetts physician assistant license required at submission
Certification requirements: pa c required

Credentialing timeframe: 30 to 60 days expedited available
Onboarding requirements: epic training required

Additional information:

-this ob/gyn pa role covers both ob and gyn for cha. The pa also helps manage inpatient and emergency room gyn consults, assists with post-op gyn rounding and management, and support ob/l&d and postpartum.

-this is a surgical pa position that requires first assist for c-sections and emergency gyn or cases. It also includes the ob l&d/maternity floor and triage management.
