Senior Manager, HEOR & Evidence Strategy
Join an innovative biotechnology organization advancing transformative therapies for patients with serious and rare diseases. We are seeking a Senior Manager, HEOR & Evidence Strategy to support evidence generation initiatives that demonstrate the clinical, economic, and patient-centered value of novel therapies and help ensure optimal patient access globally.
Reporting to the Director of HEOR & Evidence Strategy, this individual will partner cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams to develop and execute evidence strategies across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the development of HEOR and evidence generation strategies for pipeline and commercial-stage products.
- Design and manage primary and secondary research initiatives, including retrospective database studies, systematic literature reviews, health technology assessment (HTA) evaluations, and outcomes research.
- Contribute to integrated evidence generation plans (IEGPs), value propositions, and clinical outcomes assessment strategies.
- Support the creation of market access deliverables including value narratives, global value dossiers, economic models, and meta-analyses.
- Collaborate with development teams to incorporate payer, reimbursement, and health economic considerations into clinical development programs.
- Develop long-term evidence strategies that support reimbursement, market access, and patient adoption.
- Conduct HEOR analyses to inform portfolio and asset-level strategic decision-making.
- Manage external vendors, consultants, and research organizations to deliver evidence generation projects on time and within budget.
- Support annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation activities.
Education
- Master's degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), evidence generation, biopharmaceuticals, healthcare consulting, or life sciences.
- Experience supporting innovative therapeutic modalities, rare diseases, or specialty medicine programs preferred.
- Experience in immunology, neurology, cardiology, or related therapeutic areas is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HEOR methodologies and evidence generation frameworks.
- Knowledge of payer systems, reimbursement models, and value assessment frameworks.
- Experience supporting market access initiatives in pre-launch or launch environments is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while balancing timelines and budgets.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable with a strong sense of accountability.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
- Hybrid work arrangement preferred, with periodic on-site collaboration.
