Associate director, Pharmacovigilance

I’m currently looking for an experienced Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance / Medical Reviewer to join a pharmaceutical team supporting global drug safety and pharmacovigilance activities.

This is a great opportunity for an MD with strong clinical experience and pharmaceutical industry experience in medical review
.

• Perform daily medical review and causality assessment of ICSR
• Support signal detection and safety signal management
• Identify and escape potential safety issues
• Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance, Case Management, Quality, and Safety teams
• Identify case review issues and inconsistencies and support resolution
• Contribute to Medical Review process improvements
• Maintain close communication with case processing and medical review vendors
• MD degree with at least 1 year of medical practice
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience as a Medical Reviewer
• Strong clinical acumen and broad therapeutic area knowledge
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex safety data
• Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations
• Working knowledge of FDA, EU, and ICH guidelines preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
