The HR Manager, Operations responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions and HR-related matters across the organization.
• Own and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and organized personnel records.
• Lead benefits administration activities, including employee education, vendor coordination, and open enrollment processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including multi-state requirements, recordkeeping, and audit support.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace concerns, and disciplinary issues.
• Manage the employee offboarding process and associated documentation.
• Coordinate immigration-related support between employees and external legal partners.
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless transition from recruiting through onboarding.
• Develop and improve HR programs, policies, and operational processes to support continued growth and scalability.
• Manage relationships with external HR vendors, service providers, and consultants.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to HR support staff as the team expands.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Human Resources, or HR Generalist roles.
• Hands-on experience administering and optimizing HRIS platforms; experience with Rippling is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and multi-state compliance requirements.
• Experience managing employee benefits programs and partnering with external brokers or vendors.
• Demonstrated experience supporting employee relations matters and advising managers.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.
• SHRM, HRCI, or related HR certification preferred.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or scaling organization preferred.
• Exposure to technology, robotics, hardware, manufacturing, or engineering-driven environments preferred.
