Seeking a Laboratory IT Specialist for a consulting position for a biotechnology client in Cambridge, MA 02142. This role is a dedicated site lead with a focus on lab equipment support.
Initial contract duration is budgeted through 12/31/2026, with possible extension.
Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week, standard business hours.
Job Summary:- Provide comprehensive IT support to Research and Development site
- Troubleshoot computer and lab equipment issues for scientists, both on-site and remotely, managing IT requests through the company ticketing system
- Set up lab computers and network connections
- Work with vendors, perform computer hardware upgrades, and ensure seamless IT operations within the lab environment
- Perform various computer, equipment, and software support tasks
- Able to work independently as site lead
- Experience supporting scientific laboratory environments
- Well rounded technical support background
- Pharmaceutical (or other regulated) industry experience
