About UsAt Lemma Legal, we specialize in delivering document automation solutions to businesses, law firms, nonprofit legal aid providers, courts, and governments. Our mission is to streamline legal processes through innovative technology.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain document automation solutions using Python, primarily within the Docassemble framework.
- Implement custom APIs and advanced solutions to enhance our automation capabilities.
- Collaborate on integrations with generative AI technologies.
- Potentially lead the development of client-facing document automation solutions, including direct interaction with global clients.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Python
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of coding experience in Python. - Professional Development: At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- API Integrations: Proficiency in integrating with third-party APIs, including OAuth authentication and payment systems like Stripe.
- Database
Skills:
Experience with SQL and database administration. - Version Control: Familiarity with Git Hub and command-line operations in Linux environments.
- Automated Testing: Experience with automated and unit testing methodologies.
- Containerization: Knowledge of Docker for containerized applications.
- Dev Ops: Familiarity with Git Hub Actions and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- AI Integration: Experience building integrated solutions with OpenAI GPT-3.5 and 4.
- Web Technologies: Basic proficiency in JavaScript.
- Industry
Experience:
Past work in legal, law firms, or financial sectors is advantageous. - Document Automation: Familiarity with platforms like Docassemble, Hot Docs, Xpressdox, or similar.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Team
Collaboration:
Comfortable working in teams and giving/receiving feedback. - Independence: Ability to work independently.
