The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role you will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.

Applying AWS frameworks such as Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while demonstrating technical credibility across diverse stakeholders, you will distil customer needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade‑off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact.

Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance is required for this role.

• Lead and manage complex cloud migration and transformation programmes from inception to completion.
• Ensure successful delivery of programme outcomes within agreed time frames, budget and quality parameters.
• Develop and execute programme level strategic planning with agility to adjust strategies as necessary to meet evolving business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across customers, partners and internal teams at all levels.
• Chair executive level meetings, drive key decisions and resolve programme level risks and issues with appropriate escalation paths.
• Establish robust programme structure, governance model and communication plan.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers and technical specialists.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and governance requirements across all programme work‑streams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience coordinating and leading large‑scale digital or global IT transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading engagements using industry standard program management techniques including agile at scale delivery frameworks and project management tools.
• Experience with cloud computing.
• Experience developing customer‑facing presentations.

• AWS experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
• Experience applying AWS frameworks such as Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision‑makers.
