Job Title: Research and Development Solution Architect – Digital Lab Operations

Location: Morristown, NJ & Cambridge, MA

Your team will define high‑level vision, roadmaps and solutions architecture, ensuring interoperability, consistency and alignment with enterprise governance.

• Lead and oversee the design and implementation of solutions for Digital Lab Operations and Research & CMC operations.
• Ensure alignment with architecture strategy and adhere to governance standards.
• Lead the “Lab In the Loop” implementation with the In Silico Research organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Digital Labs Operations & CMC experts to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Streamline and simplify existing architecture, delivering reusable services and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and other domains to ensure complete and operable solutions that align with business processes.
• Provide clear and detailed leadership for Digital Labs Operations & CMC development architecture within projects.
• Evaluate product usefulness and cost in the supplier selection process.
• Create and maintain current and target‑state architecture roadmaps aligned with business needs.
• Establish the strategic direction, choose technologies and set standards for Digital Labs Operations & CMC development domain.

• 5–8+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of existing IT technologies, data types and ontologies at Sanofi R&D.
• Extensive background in designing, developing and optimizing IT solutions.
• Understanding of the processes and workflows in Digital Labs Operations & CMC.
• Willing, enthusiastic and ready to bring digitalisation to the Digital Labs Operations & CMC community.
• Global/multi‑cultural experience and strong vendor relationship management skills.
• Solid experience in Solution Architecture and knowledge of GxP, HIPAA and GDPR regulations.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical/solution design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Sanofi’s standard technologies (Snowflake, Git Hub, IICS, Python, Openshift, React
  
  JS, SQL, AWS, Azure).
