Role:
Digital Commercial Engineer in Moderna's Digital Commercial Engineering (DCE) team based in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders across Moderna’s Commercial teams to deeply understand digital, customer, and business needs.
  • Define and document clear business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable deliverables to drive product direction, execution planning, and delivery outcomes in collaboration with Digital Product and Engineering teams.
  • Lead end‑to‑end program planning and execution for complex cross‑functional initiatives, managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones to ensure successful execution and alignment with business priorities.
  • Drive collaboration among Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Business teams to influence technical solutions, resolve dependencies, and deliver scalable, high‑quality digital capabilities.
  • Influence prioritization and execution decisions through data‑informed insights, transparent communication, and proactive risk management while providing visibility into program progress, key decisions, and delivery outcomes to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Champion operational excellence in program delivery by driving consistent execution practices, improving delivery processes, and promoting continuous improvement across teams.
  • Support planning and coordination across multiple work streams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, execution momentum, and successful delivery of Commercial digital initiatives across markets.
  • Drive accountability across teams by facilitating decision‑making, removing blockers, and ensuring clear ownership and follow‑through on program deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 7+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 4+ years in technical program management, technical product delivery, or related experience supporting complex cross‑functional software or digital initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical programs with multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Experience supporting programs spanning multiple markets or regions is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams, understand system dependencies, and support technical delivery discussions.
  • Experience working with commercial digital systems, customer platforms, or enterprise business systems supporting global or multi‑geography operations.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries (biotech, pharma, healthcare) and understanding of compliance, data privacy, and localization requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with both Business and Technical stakeholders across cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
