We help to accelerate and protect the digital experiences of major financial institutions, providing advisory and leadership. As the Financial Services team, we build loyalty and growth through relationships and understanding of customer's needs.

You will maximize our customers value in Akamai with program management, strategic thinking, technical acumen, pre-sales and leadership. You will move our customers key initiatives from concept to implementation, solving problems and delivering exceptional satisfaction.

As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Owning program management and playing a trusted advisor that customers get the most value out of solutions
  • Being an expert and technical advisor to architect and manage the web performance and security solutions
  • Defining an account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipeline
  • Leading a cross functional team and developing a culture of excellence to empower and encourage team synergy
  • Partnering with sales and pre-sales to help expand the use of services and solutions
Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or its equivalent
  • Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and an understanding of the consulting process to ensure customer success
  • Have experience managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully
  • Have experience in web development and security technologies, methodologies and languages
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills and articulate technical information in an easy to understand manner
  • Be a team player with an ability to work independently and as a part of a remote team

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $100,700 - $181,300/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
