As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you’ll partner closely with Sales to guide prospects through their buying journey with confidence. You’ll combine technical expertise with business insight to design and deliver solutions that drive meaningful customer outcomes, accelerate deal success, and set the foundation for long‑term growth.
What You’ll Do- Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery and design solutions that align with customer goals and accelerate deal progression
- Translate complex business challenges into clear, value-driven product solutions that demonstrate measurable impact
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to customer needs
- Build trusted relationships with prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive successful outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Services, and Product teams to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience
- Shape deal strategy by identifying risks, recommending solutions, and positioning Hub Spot as the best‑fit platform
- Support and mentor team members by sharing knowledge and strengthening technical and consultative selling skills
- Continuously deepen your expertise in Hub Spot’s platform to deliver innovative and scalable solutions
- 6+ years of experience in a presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role within a SaaS or technology environment
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for diverse stakeholders
- Experience partnering with Sales teams to support complex customer engagements
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes
- Experience with CRM platforms or customer experience software
- Familiarity with inbound marketing, sales, or customer success methodologies
- Experience delivering product demonstrations or technical workshops
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting team members
- Exposure to mid‑market or enterprise sales environments
