End User Support Internship - Fall

Position Overview

End User Support Intern – Full‑time, onsite location in Cambridge, MA.

• Install, configure, repair, upgrade, back up, and maintain laptops, desktops, and peripheral hardware.
• Perform telephone installations and removals.
• Set up audio/visual equipment for conference rooms.
• Support Windows 11, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Maintain hardware and software asset inventory database.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
• Assist in preparing equipment for reuse or disposal.

• Problem‑solving techniques for IT support.
• Asset management and documentation processes.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0‑1 years of work experience in desktop support preferred.
• Experience with Mac and PC hardware (laptops, desktops).
  In addition, familiarity with Windows 10/Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, macOS, and Linux.
• Basic understanding of network principles (TCP/IP) and LAN/WAN.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

• On‑site, Cambridge, MA (commuting distance).
• Salary range: $37,000 – $82,000 USD (based on experience).
