This client creates a SaaS platform that supports life science and pharmaceutical companies. They are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to build and support AWS infrastructure. This is a full‑time position, requiring three days per week on‑site in Greater Boston.
In this role, you will help shape cloud architecture, develop infrastructure using tools like Python and Infrastructure‑as‑Code, and build reliable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to ensure high‑quality software delivery. Additionally, you’ll guide technical decisions across the organization, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and built to handle large volumes of complex data.
Required Skills & Experience- 7+ years of experience in Cloud/Dev Ops Engineering
- 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership role
- Experience designing and building systems in AWS environments
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands‑on experience with data platforms, data pipelines, or data‑intensive applications
- Experience with API’s, microservices, and cloud‑native architecture
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and Cloud Formation
- Strong experience managing CI/CD systems, preferably with Git Hub Actions
- Experience working with scientific data, life sciences, or lab systems (ELN, LIMS)
- Experience supporting AI/ML or data platforms
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
