Epic Payer Module Lead

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead configuration and implementation of Epic payer modules
- Partner with client Epic analysts to ensure seamless workflows across Epic applications
- Mentor and coach client analysts to develop Epic knowledge
- Serve as a subject matter expert for client operations teams, drawing on prior experience and analysis of current workflows to provide best practice recommendations
- Serve as liaison with Epic employees to provide the best client outcome possible
- Build and maintain project tools and templates
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years Epic experience
- Tapestry, Compass Rose, or Payer Platform certification required
- Full end-to-end implementation experience preferred
- Knowledge of FHIR R4, HL7 v2, and EDI (837/835/270/271)
- Additional Epic certifications highly preferred
- Deep knowledge of medical management, claims adjudication, and payer operations
- Ability to lead strategic conversations around Epic deployment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Comfortable owning your work independently in a lean, fast-moving consulting team
- Strong vendor management skills for navigating Epic’s support structure as a smaller customer
- Ability to scope and negotiate implementation work according to budget and timeline
- Comfort making configuration decisions quickly with incomplete information
- Strong communicator who can translate between technical teams and health plan business stakeholders
- Curious about AI and eager to apply emerging tools to real healthcare operations challenges
