Overview
La Fosse are partnered with a global technology services business who urgently require a Data Engineer, highly experienced in Databricks, for a 6-month contract (Inside IR35).
They need an experienced Data Engineer to develop and enhance data solutions within Databricks. In this role, you will build and optimise scalable ETL pipelines supporting a reporting and analytics platform, integrating data from various enterprise systems. You will ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability while contributing to continuous improvements in the data platform.
Responsibilities- Design efficient data workflows and pipelines within Databricks.
- Implement data quality checks and validation (relevant to tools such as Power BI).
- Develop data pipelines and data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering and visualization teams and maintain data governance standards.
- Extensive experience with Databricks, strong SQL and Python skills.
- Expertise in data modelling and data validation.
- Experience building and optimising data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Git-based development practices.
- Hybrid working pattern: 2 days per week in Cambridge.
- Contract:
6 months, Inside IR35 via Umbrella. - Start date:
ASAP. Interview process: 2 stages.
