A growing team in the life sciences and pharmaceutical space is building out a cloud platform from the ground up and they are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Architect in the Greater Boston area 3 days per week onsite.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will own and design the buildout of AWS infrastructure using tools like Python, Git Hub, CI/CD Pipelines, and Terraform. You will be defining how the platform is built, deployed, and scaled, while setting the standard for how engineering teams ship software.
Required Skills & Experience- 7+ years in cloud engineering, Dev Ops, or
- Strong background designing and building AWS environments from the ground up
- Proficiency in Python for infrastructure, tooling, and automation
- Experience working with data-intensive systems, pipelines, or platforms
- Familiarity with APIs, and cloud native system design
- Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub)
- Exposure to scientific data, life sciences, or lab systems
- Experience supporting AI/ML or data platforms
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration
