Job Overview
Platform Operations Engineer in Infrastructure Engineering & Operations. The role focuses on deploying large‑scale changes to our networks safely, maintaining the deployed network, improving processes, and serving as the point person for incidents and long‑term troubleshooting of customer‑facing issues triggered by changes.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within your area of specialty.
- Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements.
- Improve tools, alerts, documentation, and procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships across teams.
- Work the evening/night shift (8:30 PM – 8:30 AM EST) Friday‑Sunday in Cambridge, MA for the first six months; thereafter 50% office and 50% remote.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
- Experience administering, monitoring, and resolving issues in a high‑availability platform environment.
- Basic Linux knowledge and ability to perform simple command‑line and file navigation tasks with guidance.
- Understanding of common network protocols and ability to perform basic configuration tasks under supervision.
- Team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in an ever‑changing environment.
- Excellent communication and written skills to articulate technical information to internal teams and customers.
- Successfully adjudicated USG Tier 3 background investigation (or required to obtain).

CompensationFor U.S. candidates only, the base salary range is $60,000 – $108,000 per year. Pay is determined by experience, skills, certifications, and location. Compensation may also include incentive bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
