AV Support Specialist

Description

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand event objectives and recommend appropriate AV and conferencing solutions.
• Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of event technologies, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinars, Zoom Rooms, and integrated AV systems.
• Coordinate technical rehearsals, speaker readiness sessions, and event support resources.
• Monitor live events and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution to ensure a seamless participant experience.
• Participate in post-event reviews and contribute recommendations for process and service improvements.

• Assess event requirements and help design AV and conferencing solutions that align with business needs.
• Configure and validate event platforms, room technology, audio/video systems, and support workflows.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal support teams to ensure successful event delivery.

• Conduct technical testing and readiness reviews.
• Support speaker onboarding, training, and rehearsals.
• Coordinate on-site and virtual event support resources.
• Monitor event performance using conference management and monitoring tools.
• Document issues, resolutions, and lessons learned to improve future events.

This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, MA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cambridge,MA.
