Role
Build and lead Flagship's cloud security and application security engineering practice, focusing on AI-augmented workflows and integration with infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities- manage cloud security posture
- implement CI/CD security guardrails
- operationalize cloud-side DLP
- execute cloud identity management
- develop detection rules
- contribute to AI platform security
- embed security into engineering pipelines across the portfolio
- 5+ years in cloud security or application security
- hands-on AWS security expertise (preferably Wiz)
- experience with cloud identity platforms (Azure AD)
- scripting and automation skills (Python, Terraform)
- proven success with AI-augmented security workflows
- security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, GWEB, OSCP)
- experience with ML/AI platforms
- container security
- familiarity with HIPAA
- cloud and application security in fast-paced biotech/AI environment
- building a security practice from the ground up
- leveraging LLMs and agentic tooling
- collaborating with engineering teams
- flexible, strategic role within a small, innovative team.
