Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for the most complex Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Creates a comprehensive estimate of damages for the most complex first party homeowner claims leading to the proper disposition. This role may act as a peer mentor and may assign direction to junior employees after mastering our processes and gaining technical expertise.

We are seeking an experienced Property Field Adjuster to join our Massachusetts Claims team. This role is responsible for investigating and managing complex homeowner claims from initial inspection through resolution. You will evaluate coverage, assess damages, and prepare detailed estimates to support fair and accurate claim outcomes. You will work directly with customers, contractors, and internal partners to ensure timely resolution while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

• Exhibits mastery of estimating fundamentals to create damage estimates on the most complex first-party homeowner losses of all severities
• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Negotiates settlements, processes settlement payments, and documents all activities in the most complex files
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Recommends process improvements

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign-on Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role. This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License. Current employees or candidates who have previously worked for Allstate are not eligible for this sign-on bonus.

Base compensation offered for this role is:
Field Adjuster Cons I: $53,500 - $86,400 Field Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250 Field Adjuster Sr Cons I & II: $65,600 - $111,550

Total compensation includes base pay plus incentive pay where applicable.
