Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an On-site Entry-Level Inventory Control Specialist. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, performing inventory audits, coordinating with warehouse teams, and supporting efficient inventory operations.

The Inventory Control Specialist will work closely with warehouse personnel, procurement teams, and operations managers to ensure inventory accuracy, minimize discrepancies, and support day-to-day business operations.

CompensationThe salary range for this role is $60,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, organizational skills, analytical abilities, and client hiring needs.

What you’ll do- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records
- Perform routine inventory counts and cycle audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Update inventory data in company systems
- Coordinate inventory transfers between locations
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
- Prepare inventory reports and performance summaries
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures
- Support warehouse process improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
- Perform additional inventory and operational duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, retail, or related roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and inventory management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced on‑site environment
- Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented mindset
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
- Internship or entry‑level inventory experience
- Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices
- Experience with cycle counting or stock reconciliation
- Interest in supply chain management and logistics
