Position: Contracts Coordinator (Procurement)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Coordinator to support Global Medical procurement operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing contract requests, creating and managing purchase orders, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring timely completion of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process. You will work closely with business owners, procurement, finance, legal, and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve contract and purchasing issues while maintaining compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process contract requests and generate purchase orders (POs) following established procedures.
  • Manage purchase order requests from initiation through completion, ensuring timely approvals and issue resolution.
  • Monitor procurement activities and proactively follow up on pending requests to prevent delays.
  • Verify contract values against purchase order values to ensure accuracy.
  • Apply appropriate financial account coding to purchase order requests.
  • Collaborate with business owners, procurement, finance, legal, and vendors to resolve contract and purchasing issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in procurement systems.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in contracts, procurement, purchasing, or Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) operations.
  • Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
  • Experience using ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, and financial coding.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
