Job Description

Pay: $30–$36/hour

Duration: 6-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week;
Hybrid in Cambridge, MA (2 days onsite: Tuesday & Wednesday, 3 days remote;
additional onsite day as needed
)

Job Overview

The Contracts Coordinator supports procurement operations by managing the creation and processing of purchase orders within internal systems. This role ensures compliance with established procedures, accurate financial coding, and effective coordination with stakeholders to resolve contracting and purchasing issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase order requests from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to established procedures
  • Monitor and track purchase order status, proactively following up to resolve delays or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with business owners, legal teams, and cross-functional partners to address contracting issues and support efficient procurement operations
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience required
  • Experience with contracts, purchasing processes, or procure-to-pay systems required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems preferred
