Position Title: FACILITIES MANAGER
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
Pay Grade: 16
Other Forms of Compensation: BONUS

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to lead an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) program for a premier pharmaceutical client in Boston. This role is responsible for overall management of the onsite teams delivering exceptional operation performance in the verticals as outlined below.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring alignment with ESFM/AstraZeneca business goals, contractual performance standards, and service level expectations.
- Manage a $5M+ annual operating budget, including forecasting, variance tracking, and cost optimization strategies.
- Drive vendor performance and accountability, ensuring adherence to contract SLAs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for continuous improvement, sustainability, and innovation in facilities operations.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of safety, service, and professional growth.
- Support the production and execution of tasks related to emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal EHS and quality standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the client’s senior leadership, translating business objectives into facilities strategies that enhance productivity using best current practices as well as leveraging AI technology where applicable.
- Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence, ensuring all team members and vendors are aligned with client values and operational goals.
- Represent the IFM program in governance meetings, audits, and executive briefings, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Build and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of facilities professionals, including engineers, coordinators, and service partners.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first culture, encouraging open communication, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and succession planning to ensure team resilience and bench strength.
- Facilitate team engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, training workshops, and collaborative problem-solving forums.
- 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated industry.
