RESEARCH AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
, Economics, supports the mission of The Bike Shop by melding a passion for evidence-based economics and computer science research with solid administrative abilities. Under the supervision of Prof. Sendhil Mullainathan, the Research and Operations Manager serves as the operational and relational core of The Bike Shop, owning the lab’s financial, administrative, and compliance functions while cultivating and coordinating the institutional relationships —across MIT and the University of Chicago— that enable the lab to thrive.
The role requires someone who is energized by the work of keeping a research enterprise running, and who brings the strategic and interpersonal sensibilities to do so across a complex multi-institutional environment.
