As our Facilities Senior Manager, you will strategically manage all aspects of building operations and maintenance for a premier Life Sciences R&D Pharmaceutical campus in Cambridge, MA. Youwill support both hard and soft services, but a majority of the scope willfocus on HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical.

** Whatyou'll do*
* + Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the     training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and     mentor. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

+ Coordinate and develop the team's daily activities.
Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and     track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

+ Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance     by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

+ Maintain positive client relationships and conduct     meetings on unresolved facility issues.

+ Prepare and run large and high-profile capital     projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

+ Perform facility inspections quality assurance     following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement     operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

+ Create environmental health and safety procedures for     facilities.

+ Develop vendor relationships and coordinate invoicing     procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of     parts, services, and labor for projects.

+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent     with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view     while being guided by policies and departmental plans.

+ Identify and solve technical and operational problems     of complexity.

+ Understand and recognize the broader impact across the     department.

+ Improve and change existing methods, processes, and     standards within job.

** Whatyou'll need*
* + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of     relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and     education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility     Management certification preferred.

+ Must hold some Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical and/or     R&D regulated industry facilities management experience.

+ Experience in the areas of leadership, staffing,     selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring,     appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $150,000 to $160,000 annual base salary plus 15% target bonus based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
