Assistant Facilities Manager – JLL
Join JLL as a Facilities Operations Manager, where you'll oversee comprehensive site operations while driving exceptional client service and operational excellence. This critical role combines strategic vendor management, client relationship building, and team leadership to ensure world-class facility operations. You'll manage day-to-day site activities while supporting long-term strategic initiatives, serving as the operational backbone for our Cambridge location. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, optimize processes using innovative technologies, and directly impact the workplace experience for our valued client.
Manage site operations in accordance with all policies, procedures, and contract requirements, ensuring seamless delivery of facilities services
Oversee vendor relationships for janitorial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and critical systems, ensuring contract compliance and insurance requirements
Track and audit client work orders within the CMMS to ensure vendors meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service quality and meeting or exceeding key performance indicators
Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly spend reporting; manage vendor purchase orders, invoices, and payment processing
Lead, develop, and supervise a professional, energetic team dedicated to delivering extraordinary service
Coordinate internally with fitness, food services, security, and capital project teams to ensure integrated facility operations
High school diploma
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or related field
Demonstrated people management skills with ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
Experience utilizing enterprise workplace management systems, digital ticketing platforms, and data reporting tools
Proficient in information technology tools and platforms, including generative AI tools and conversational search applications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Property, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field
Advanced experience with CMMS platforms and data analytics
Background in financial management and budget reconciliation
Experience implementing innovative programs that reduce operating costs and increase productivity
Cambridge, Massachusetts (100% on-site)
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
$66,400 to $83,158 annually

Estimated compensation for this position:
66,400.00 – 83,158.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
