Global Head of Professional Services – Technical Implementation Services, Managing Director

• Oversee technical practice managers, senior implementation managers, implementation managers, and technical consultants on client projects
• Hire, mentor, train, motivate, and develop staff
• Ensure team personnel are effectively staffed and utilized
• Achieve Technical Implementation Services revenue goals and utilization targets
• Conduct regular technical project reviews
• Review implementation status and resolve technical implementation issues
• Work hands-on with clients as necessary to deliver successful, on-schedule, on-budget projects and high client satisfaction
• Hold ultimate responsibility for technical delivery of each implementation
• Liaise with Sales, R&D, Product Management, Engineering, QA, and other departments
• Continuously improve implementation practices and procedures, including estimating, scoping, quality assurance reviews, methodologies, and reengineering
• Set technical direction for implementation projects, including adoption of AI into the implementation process
• Ensure staff adhere to policies and procedures
• Participate in the sales process by presenting implementation methodology and procedures to prospects
• Respond to design and best-practice questions from prospects and customers
• Prepare estimates, assumption documents, and statements of work
• Conduct staff reviews and assess personnel for compensation and promotion
• Maintain 20-30% utilization through value-add management activities
• Review and approve expenses and time entries
• Lead bi-weekly team meetings, project reviews, and account reviews
• Ensure projects are completed properly, on time, and on budget
• Maintain client satisfaction and retention
• Contribute to department revenue targets and strategic initiatives

• BA/MS degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematical Finance, or another related field
• Experience implementing financial systems and delivering multi-tier financial applications
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and building senior-level relationships
• Proven experience managing a team of 10+ consultants
• Ability to prioritize and match staff capabilities to customer requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and manage cross-functional processes and project timelines
• Understanding of the implementation lifecycle and methodologies
• Proven ability to recommend and apply industry and technical best practices
• Ability to take initiative, set priorities, and perform tasks with minimal guidance
• 10+ years of experience
• Specific knowledge of the investment industry, including financial instruments, workflows, major players, and trends
• Strong management background with tactical and strategic capability
