The Director, Scientific Technology & Laboratory Systems is the people and process leader accountable for Sarepta's scientific technology platforms and laboratory technology operating model. This leader directs multiple teams through subordinate managers and senior technical leaders, with responsibility for laboratory applications, instrument and endpoint technology services, business analysis, software development, portfolio governance, service delivery, vendor management, technology lifecycle planning, and laboratory technology risk management.

The Director partners with Research, Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Information Security, Validation, and other business and IT functions to translate scientific and operational needs into practical strategies, multi‑year roadmaps, prioritised investments, and reliable solutions. The role is approximately 75% strategic and 25% operational and requires a leader who can build a high‑performing organisation, establish scalable processes, challenge architecture decisions, and selectively advance automation, AI, and digital laboratory capabilities based on validated business need.

Sarepta is seeking a strategic, business‑oriented technology leader to direct the Scientific Technology and Laboratory Systems organisation. This role is accountable for the performance and evolution of the processes, people, platforms, and services that enable laboratory operations across the company.

The Director will lead managers and senior professionals spanning laboratory instrument and endpoint technology services, scientific applications, business analysis, and software development. The successful candidate will establish clear accountability, mature governance and service‑management practices, and create integrated multi‑year roadmaps covering business demand, platform capabilities, upgrades, obsolescence, technical debt, operational resilience, and emerging technology opportunities. This leader will maintain sufficient technical depth to evaluate options and challenge architecture decisions, while achieving results primarily through managers, process leadership, cross‑functional influence, and strong business partnership.
