Position Summary: Perform skilled work in the repair of damaged fire trucks and emergency vehicles. This includes fabricating metal components, installing body parts, reading blueprints and technical drawings, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to meet precise customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication, welding, and mechanical skills, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Setup and operating of standard fabricating machines including press brakes, mechanical shears, drill presses, spot/resistance welders, etc.
• MIG & TIG Experience
• 1-3 or more years in a manufacturing environment working in metals fabrication is desired. Equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered.
• Collaborate with engineering, electrical, paint, and final assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Thorough knowledge of different types of aluminum, steel, and structural welding is important.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, layout blueprints, and job orders.
• Report material shortages, design issues, or quality concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
