We are currently seeking a 3rd shift Machinist to join our team

Summary:

Perform Maintenance M&R department activities to maintain the plant equipment in a safe, sanitary and efficient condition while implementing improvements to maximize plant efficiency

Qualifications:

* Have working knowledge as required for the processing equipment via manuals, manufacturer's training and training schools

* Coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure that all M&R equipment is operating in a safe, sanitary and efficient manner.

* Coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure that all lines are changed over and ready for startup.

* Utilizes Tab Ware to create and close work orders.

* Assists Supervisor in creating recommended spare parts list for processing equipment.

* Verify parts correct for work orders PM, follow up on completed work assignments.

* Working knowledge of all welding equipment mig, tig, arc welding

* Able to set up milling machine ,lathe, and drill press

* Able to perform plumbing tasks, repair steam pipes, install sink, pumps, and general repairs.

* Working knowledge to perform repairs to building exterior and interior.

* Oversee all processing equipment activities and communicate with all departments supervisors as needed

* Maintain all maintenance areas in regards to safety and 5s program.

* Perform all work with high regards to professionalism and quality

Duties

Additional Information

* Rate: $44.76/hour

3rd shift 10 PM - 6:30 AM (hours will vary based on the needs of the business)

* Work Week:
Monday-Friday (Saturday work as needed)
