Growing food manufacturing company seeks experienced FSQA Supervisor to join the team!
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Are you passionate about quality and safety in the food manufacturing industry? Do you have a knack for ensuring that every product that leaves the manufacturing line is up to the highest standards? If so, we are looking for a Food Safety and Quality Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is a critical part of our commitment to producing high‑quality products that our customers trust and love.
Responsibilities- Overseeing and ensuring the implementation of our Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) programs.
- Conducting regular verifications and inspections of our manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and identifying areas for improvement.
- Taking charge in swabbing and other microbiological testing activities to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of our production areas.
- Handling non‑conformance issues, including investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Reviewing and approving product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Training and guiding team members on food safety and quality practices, ensuring they are well equipped to maintain our high standards.
- Collaborating with other departments to drive continuous improvement in our food safety and quality systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of FSQA, GMP, swabbing, non‑conformance handling, verifications, and labeling.
- A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey food safety and quality standards to the team.
- Proficiency in using various software systems for data management and reporting.
- A certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC would be an advantage.
