Position Summary
The Assembly Supervisor’s priorities are split between ensuring production objectives are met, continuous improvement is taking place, and that their team members continue to develop and grow in their careers. The ideal candidate will be someone with a product engineering background that can focus on multiple areas such as quality, production, and vendor/customer relations.
Compensation$82,500-$100,000 Annually

- Direct the work of others across several operational areas to fully accommodate production needs.
- Program management of a key product line.
- Manage product assembly process from start to finish.
- Supervise overall production by working with customer service, production control, and paint shop management.
- Supervise product quality.
- Design, develop assembly operations for new production.
- Improve existing processes for quality and efficiency.
- Manage associates' time and attendance according to company policies and procedures.
- Attend production meetings to review current order status, issues, changes, downtime, quality issues, and report on project status.
- Review forecasts for production needs, run open order reports, and properly assign work to be completed.
- Ensure team members are continuously learning and cross‑training to develop a flexible workforce.
- Analyze performance results of the area and drive continuous improvement to meet or exceed established safety, productivity, quality, and uptime goals.
- Perform daily 5S audits to maintain a safe and optimal work environment.
- Conduct associate performance reviews, identify performance gaps, and create development plans.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience preferred.
- Lean manufacturing experience (5S, standard work, problem solving, value stream mapping) preferred.
- Ability to work with ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from production associates to senior leaders.
- Ability to function as a team player and be comfortable leading without authority.
- Ability to build credibility and trust.
- Ability to influence leaders and change their paradigms.
