Topworks Assembler

About the Role

Join our workshop in Shrewsbury, MA as a Topworks Assembler. The Topworks position is responsible for a variety of mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and procedural tasks, including identification of components, mounting actuators and switches to valves, testing completed packages, and processing the assembly according to work order instructions and applicable specifications.

• Read work orders and verify correct parts according to “picklist” and special instructions.
• Lookup/print applicable specifications and drawings using ICN.
• Use hand tools, pneumatic, electric, power supplies, and other equipment, including working with electric actuators that require connection to 230
  
  VAC power.
• Mount actuators/manual gear to valve, set proper open/close positions using actuator stop screws.
• Mount switches, filter regulators, and solenoids to assemblies as specified.
• Rig components and completed assemblies safely, placing slings correctly and finding the center of gravity to avoid product damage.
• Ensure quality of products and compliance with all applicable federal, state and organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

• 0–1+ years of actual on‑the‑job experience in an assembly role.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Understanding of function and adjustability of specialized components such as limit switches, solenoids, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• May use a forklift or electric/manual pallet jack for moving material.
