Within Sanofi Specialty Care, the US Rare Blood Disorders franchise is committed to advancing care for patients with complex hematologic and immunologic conditions. The franchise has a diverse and rapidly growing portfolio, including industry-leading products in hemophilia; the first and only approved medicines in acquired thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura and indolent and advanced systemic mastocytosis, Cablivi and Ayvakit, respectively; and now expanding rapidly to other under-served hematologic disorders with the launch of Wayrilz in Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP).
The Lead, US Hematology Pipeline Commercialization will serve as the US commercial architect for future Wayrilz indications.
This role will have primary responsibility for shaping the US commercial strategy, market development approach, investment plan, and launch readiness for Wayrilz in warm Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (wAIHA) and sickle cell disease. This role will also contribute to the US commercialization strategy for Wayrilz in IgG4-related disease and help evaluate additional future indications and opportunities.
The successful candidate will rapidly build a deep understanding of patients, providers, treatment pathways, market dynamics, and emerging competition. They will translate incomplete and evolving information into clear strategic choices and help define what must be true for future indications to succeed in the US market.
This role requires strong strategic judgment, executive presence, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment.
The role reports to the Head of Rare Hematology Marketing and will work closely with the US ITP Marketing Lead, the Global Wayrilz team, and other cross-functional leaders.
