We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager with a strong background in Medical‑Surgical (Med Surg) and Telemetry nursing. The Nurse Manager will lead and oversee nursing staff, ensuring high‑quality patient care and effective unit operations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to maintaining clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day nursing operations on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee patient care quality and implement process improvements as needed.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to unit performance and staffing.
- Active State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1+ year experience as a Nurse Manager.
- 1‑2 years of Medical‑Surgical (Med Surg) and Telemetry nursing experience.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographic information.
- Submission must include Return to Office (RTO) details; RTO will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
- Two recent references from Med Surg/Telemetry Manager or Supervisor roles.
- Skills checklist matching the specialty.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Epic.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Additional nursing leadership certifications are a plus but not required.
