Registered Nurse, Wound Care

Cambridge, MA

Shift: Day Shift, 7:30AM-4PM

Hours:

40 Hours/Week

Pay: $3,107/Week

Required to Submit: 2+ years of RN wound care experience, Active MA RN License. Wound and ostomy cert PREFERRED. If no wound cert, they must have sufficient experience, recent inpatient wound care.

Submission: BILH Coversheet, Resume, Skills Checklist, 2 References, MA License.

Details: BILH cover sheet required at time of submission. Mon-Fri day shift, with a little bit of flexibility for the schedule - could do 10H days vs 8H days if needed. Wound and ostomy cert PREFERRED. If no wound cert, they must have sufficient experience, recent inpatient wound care beyond the role of a staff nurse. This is a 1 person team.

If certified, 2 years of experience required. Epic EMR required Must have MA license and BLS-AHA. Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).

The Wound Care Nurse, as a professional practitioner employed by Amergis Healthcare Services, Inc., assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.

Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
