Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.) – Full Time 7‑3 Shift

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Five Star, Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Award‑winning short‑term rehab, long‑term, and skilled nursing care community located in Cambridge, near the Belmont line.

• Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
• Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provides necessary care for participants who are dependent.
• Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to promote individual independence, including walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing and bed mobility.
• Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in‑service participation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; other languages helpful.
• Basic math skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
