Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Operating Room, traveling assignment in Cambridge, MA. Start date 07/28/2026 for a 13‑week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Rotation shift (4x10s) with on‑call coverage evenings and select weekends, plus holiday coverage. Weekly pay range: 2,802–2,993 per week. This role is in a hospital operating room setting. Local candidates within 50 miles may qualify for the local rate (posted rate minus $8).

On assignment, AHA BLS is required and EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

• Provide scrub and circulating nursing care for operative procedures; maintain sterile technique and assist the surgical team with instrumentation
• Monitor patient status during surgery; document intraoperative events and vitals; ensure patient safety and anesthesia monitoring
• Prepare and stock the OR; verify equipment and supplies; manage instrument counts and room turnover
• Communicate effectively with the perioperative team and ensure accurate handoffs to the post‑anesthesia care unit
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies; participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives

• Active Massachusetts RN license; NURSYS verification within the last week; must show ALL licenses (past and present)
• AHA BLS certification; evidence of current flu vaccine during season
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in the OR specialty
• Valid driver’s license; address must match demographics
• EMR experience preferred: EPIC
• Updated resume including 1+ year of OR experience and travel history; document travel experience; RTO to be included at submission and not guaranteed after confirmation
• Ability to work a rotating 4x10 schedule with on‑call requirements and holiday coverage
